Ultimate Nintendo Switch bundle releases tomorrow, November 2. Rool, Ice Climbers, and the recently revealed Piranha Plant will come in February, while Isabelle, Pichu, Ken, Young Link, and Daisy will arrive in 2019. Three more Amiibos will come in February and five more will be available later in 2019. Lastly, the Ridley, Inkling, and Wolf Amiibo are going to launch when the game launches. They act as power-ups and can be leveled up as well. Spirits can be attached to either the playable fighters or the support characters. “ World of Light” also seems to implement the new Spirts system which replaces the series’ traditional trophy system. It doesn’t seem to just be fighting, but some puzzle elements are part of the game as well. Another thing to take note of is the many different ways you’ll play the mode. It looks like this might be how you will unlock the roster that you can use for the rest of the game. It has players traveling across an overworld taking on the many fighters that make up the roster. Also announced was Piranha Plant, a bonus character that’s free for those who purchases the game before January 31, 2019. The Pass includes every piece of content that will be released by February 2020, and will cost $24.99. You can also purchase all DLC packs as part of the Fighters Pass. There will be five sets of DLC, which will each include a new fighter, stage, and new music tracks. After these characters were revealed, Director Masahiro Sakurai announced plans for new fighters, made from scratch, coming in the future. The other fighter revealed was Incineroar, a Pokemon from Sun and Moon. Ken, from Street Fighter, is an echo fighter who will play like Ryu, but with faster move sets. ![]() During the Direct, the final two fighters that make up the base roster were revealed.
